When i tried to make a host discovery (using nmap) i saw an error:

Another error spotted during update agents to new version…

… and inside logs:

UPGRADE OEM12C AGENT FAILED AT “Preparing for Management Agent Upgrade” WITH “Exit Code :1”

When i updated OMS, i tried to upgrade all agents.
One of them during upgrade process failed with “Preparing for Management Agent Upgrade” step.
But what is a reason of this behaviour?

OEM12C – CLEAN-UP OPERATIONS AFTER AGENT UPGRADE

When You install oem12c release 3 as upgrade on previous version and update all agents on remote hosts to actual version, there are one more step to end entire process – remove old binaries of previous agent. This will be done later, so don’t hurry with this operation. Be sure first that new one agent is working correctly.
